I was frustrated when MsVios told me earlier that the tickets for the musical were sold out. And a few days after that, YEAY we got it.. Thanks to you SisJ & MsVios (and your cousin! I forgot her name again) for getting the tickets to the show.
It was a good show.. but not without flaws. Tiara was excellent ( I noticed a huge pimple on her cheek.. hehehe.. too much stress with the show, I guessed). As for our mat salleh hang tuah, I think they should get a Malay (or a Malaysian) for the role, Tuah didn't seem to express the exact feeling that should come with the dialogue he cited but he was good with the singing part. I wished M.Nasir took that role! I could feel love from Gusti Puteri, but not from Tuah. Sultan's singing and dancing ala disco were funny and rather odd.
I could hardly understand some of the songs that they sang chorus. I strained my neck looking up for the English subtitle display most of the time (that explained that we actually got one of the cheaper seats) . Overall I went home satisfied.. yelahhh.. I got the discount ticket, so shouldn't make too much complain, eh?
